Olympians & Para Olympians
The sport of archery was introduced to South Africa centuries ago, and formalized in the 1950’s with the formation of the national association of archery. Since then, the South African National Archery Association (SANAA) has held over 50 national championships and participated in numerous international events and the Olympics.
A number of our athletes have represented South Africa at the Olympic Games.
