Recreational

This type of membership is aimed at the “social” member who just wants to shoot on the odd occasion and not compete in tournaments. Gets the magazine. They would need to pay the visitors fee at tournaments but their scores will not be tracked on the database and therefore they will not be eligible for provincial, association or protea colours. Should they wish to start competing they would then be upgraded to either a full member / family member / scholar and pay the relevant membership fee applicable at the time less the Recreational fee already paid.

Development

This type of membership fee is ONLY for those learners who are part of a development project funded by DSAC. They are shown as “not competing” so no scores are tracked as they are normally not shooting at the appropriate age distances. Should they wish to start competing at recognised distances, they would be upgraded to a scholar and the applicable rate applied.
Note: Membership fee includes the licence to shoot in competition in all World Archery or Federation sanctioned tournaments. Visitors are welcome subject to an additional temporary membership fee of R50.00. Important: Recreational & Development Members will not have their tournament scores tracked on the SANAA database.
