The Fun Side of Archery

Martin Trimmer has been involved in the sport of archery for many years. Beside earning Springbok colours for the sport, he also earned colours for athletics and trampolining. Martin holds a number of records as well as the SA Masters record holder and the 2006 gold medal winner. He shoots a compound bow, and is also an honorary member of SANAA; holding the position today of the 60-gold and 60-club officer.
But Martin has other talents, one of them being able to see the humorous side of archery. He reflects this in the cartoons he has contributed to the SA Archer over the decades, some of which are featured below.
SANAA is looking to compile a book of his works.

Unfortunately,Martin has always provided the originals for publication, and these are not easily available. His cartoons adorn the walls of many a club in the country, have been given as gifts over the years and some are even framed in private houses.
We invite all archers who have a “Martin” to let us have a copy and to assist us in compiling the book. Contact the secretary for further information.
